So Blessed

My blog is often a place where I put things when my life is overflowing. When there is lots going on, when there is lots to look forward to, or even when there is an abundance of crafting creativity needing  a place to be expressed. Today my life is overflowing with messages of divine counsel from General Conference- and so on my blog they must be put!

I am so grateful for our membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and for the words we have heard and spirit we have felt.

Because there is so much invaluable information shared and given to us by each speaker,  I wanted to find a way to commit to my memory the principles which were most pronounced and relevant to Jake and I at this time in our lives.

So from my notes, I have selected the quotes which I found to be particularly inspiring - and have assigned each one a corresponding picture. That way, when I see these images I will hopefully be reminded of these eternal truths.(And at the same time it gives me a chance to show off some of our new family pictures - to those of you who have not already seen them on Facebook.)

Kind of like my own personal

I believe that Heavenly Father is a loving Father, is mindful of his children, and continues to speak to us through prophets and personal revelation. I am so thankful for this, and for the guidance we are given for our homes and our families.
I feel so blessed to have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I sometimes take for granted that I have always known why I was born,  that I lived before I was born, and that I am a daughter of God. So much of who I am and how I act and where I am in life, is because of these fundamental truths.
I am humbled to know that I owe every happy moment in my life to being obedient to the plan which Jesus Christ has given us to follow.
I love my Savior and know that He lives.
