I looked out the window yesterday and caught a glimpse of some movement in the trees by the side of our house. After a few moments, we could plainly see a whole herd of deer! They hopped our fence and headed for the road:
In the four years we have lived in this house, I don't think we have ever seen deer right in our neighborhood before.We do have an elk refuge right across the street, which is actually way cooler to watch... but here I am sprinting to the front door with my camera for some deer :)
A few cars came down the road and split them up, so there were three in front of our house and the rest bounded back where they had come from.
Here is part of the line up in our back field. It will be a long way for them before they find a mountain of any kind.
