The last four years have been quite eventful for us. I know I have bombarded my blog with pictures lately, but it would take FOREVER to summarize with words. So here's a picture summary....
THE DATING YEARS:
Playing at the playground in Star Valley
Hiking at Zions National Park
After math of a bottle-rocket war at his parents Ranch
THE ENGAGEMENT:
Yup, we're engaged.
THE WEDDING:
Happy Day!
HONEYMOON:
Beautiful cruise sunset
FIRST YEAR:
First Christmas
SECOND YEAR:
Pirate night on the Disney Cruise
THIRD YEAR:
Las Vegas Temple
Cruise with my friends
FOURTH YEAR:
We rode in a limo!
We went to a Jazz game.
AND THEN THERE WAS HAWAII :)
HAPPY 4th ANNIVERSARY:
We were a little low on celebration funds since we just got back from Hawaii, so we spent the day at home. Jake put together a mini-treasure hunt for me with some silly clues and it was seriously awesome. I could tell he knows me pretty well by the small gifts that accompanied each clue. The treasure at the end was the two Narnia movies. YES!
We broke out our Wedding Cake that had been in the Freezer all this time-
Yes, we ate it and it was actually very tasty! Here is what our cake looked like originally...
I loved our wedding cake!
We also went to dinner at Olive Garden - that is after we spoiled our dinner with the cake. And we built a pillow and blanket fort in our basement. Can you tell which of us was spoiled this anniversary and got to do whatever they wanted? ME! We watched the Narnia movies from the fort and aside from both getting phone calls from work, we had a relaxing day off.
Four years later we're still pretty convinced that this marriage thing was a good idea. Jake - I love you (you little turd!)
